Off the mat, Sami couples her passion for the yoga & wellness lifestyle with her professional skills as a creative director, marketing director, brand strategist, writer, and design visionary. Sami loves to step in front of a people and share herself as a teacher, but much of her time is spent in front of a computer, in her own little world of creation, marketing, social media, and design.
Sami designed and directed the creative, while also contributing to the content of five issues of Origin Magazine.
Sami worked on a team of brand strategists and designers who created digital presentations for the Chicago Olympic Games bid.
Sami created powerful and robust layouts to showcase interviews with legends like Paul McCartney.

Sami joined the team at Yoga + Life Magazine in 2015 as the national Creative Director. She is excited to brand and build this family of regional yoga magazines into a household name. In the Summer of 2015, Sami graced the cover of the premiere issue of Colorado Yoga Magazine.
Working with huge companies like BHP Billiton gave Sami the freedom and budget to explore and learn about high-end print techniques. This invitation won the Gold Leaf Printing Award in 2006.
This Kathryn Budig issue was Sami's first cover for Mantra Yoga + Health Magazine.
Sami played a large part in the development of the brand, bid, look & feel and interactive presentations for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Bid. After working on the project for 2.5 years, the IOC announced Sochi as the winner in 2008.
Sami designed, wrote, and modeled in the Yoga + Life Magazine feature Ace of Hearts which printed in Colorado and New York.
Sami served at the interim creative director for the first issue of Brendan Brazier's magazine, Thrive. She designed the logo, masthead, look & feel, and first two covers.
Mantra Yoga + Health Magazine's Sinead cover was the first time the artist had graced the front of a magazine or given an interview in years.
Sami loves the opportunity to create the visual space for powerful and motivating stories like Yulady Saluti's, Confessions of a Cokehead Turned Yogi, featured in Mantra Yoga + Health Magazine
It is an honor for Sami to partner with her yoga teacher Baron Baptiste to assist in brand strategy, web development, book design, and environmental graphics for the Baptiste Institute.
Sami loves to take the movement and grace of yoga onto clothing. She has designed clothing for various studios and for her own line of yoga apparel.
Sami learned a great deal about environmental and large-scale graphics when developing the brand, bid, look & feel, and environment for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Bid.
The opportunity to create feature designs for powerhouse musicians and people who make a difference in our world is why Sami loves to design. She creates the canvas for their voice.
